NBL performs analyses of nuclear materials as
an independent Federal technical audit in
support of multiple program sponsors. This
involves performing elemental and isotopic
measurements to verify/validate the accuracy
of facility special nuclear material inventories,
and serving as an independent referee laboratory
to evaluate/resolve inventory or shipper-receiver
differences.
